Anyone seen Sunshine yet? If so, what'd you think?

Well, once again Ralph Finnes is having his problems with women (as in The English Patient and The End of the Affair). This time it's tripled though, since he plays 3 different parts. At nearly 3 hours, it takes place in Hungary between the turn of the century and the 1950's. I recommend it, but then I'm especially partial to intense actors like Ralph. Some ladies in the restroom commented that it reminded them of a Hungarian Doctor Zivago.

I was just wondering where I can find the movie Sunshine, or if it has even come out in Canada yet?

Supposedly, it was released in Canada late last year, but if it was anything like the US release, it only played in a handful of theaters and quickly disappeared.

If you have a DVD player, "Sunshine" is coming to Region 1 on May 8th, along with Edward Yang's "Yi Yi".

FYI - I posted the DVD release dates on some noteworthy foreign films over in the "News and Rumors" section, under "Upcoming DVD Releases to Note".
