The DVD of Requiem has finally been released in Germany, but the bad news for everyone on this board is probably that it has only german subtitles for the hearing impaired. I am still amazed by the fact that so many german DVD's (even by well-known companies like X-Filme with a potentially large clientele) are released without german subs. In this regard, we proove to be as ignorant as the French and the japanese.
The DVD includes an audiocommentaryx, interviews with cast and crew, a making of, and other specials, but they are also not subtitled in english.

Maybe some foreign company will also release it in the future...

Thanks for the info. It is disappointing, however, that there are no subs. The U.S. DVD from IFC Films will probably come out early next year; I'll update the thread when an official release date becomes available.

Have you delved into the extra features yet? Anything interesting there?

No, I haven`t rented the DVD myself, because I wasnt curious enough about the production. When I rewatch the movie, Ill tell you about the extras.

The U.S. DVD of Requiem is scheduled to be released on March 6th.
