I'm looking for a little help. I've recently gotten into Italian films, and have seen most of the most famous ones (Cinema Paradisio, The Bicycle Thief, everthing by Fellini) but with the exception of Cinema Paradisio, I can't seem to find anything more recent, say, from the last five to ten years.

Can anyone recomend a recent Italian film that would be resonalbly easy to find a copy of? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

try to find 'Caro Diario' aka Dear Diary (1994) by Nanni Moretti. It's available on video/dvd.

There have been some great films by Gianni Amelio in the last 10 years:

Open Doors
Stolen Children
L'America

I would strongly recommend these films, especially the last two.

Of course they do.
There's a recent film called "Pane e Tulipane", just a fantastic one, and "Malena", and "The sun's bedroom", and... Where do you live??

I made a mistake, it's not "sun's" , the correct name is
"The son's bedroom" (2001).

I'm going to assume you've already seen Life is Beautiful.
Try Ciao Professore(1995)

The Son's Room won at Cannes.Life is Beautiful won the Foreign Film Oscar, though i'm not overkeen(i found it too sentimental and it required too great a suspension of disbelief, at least for me).I'm partial to several Taviani films, from before the last few years however; The Night of San Lorenzo/Night of the Shooting Stars is their best.
