I saw the ads in the store, more crap I can't afford. The last few years their annual sale was located at a different building further south and I picked up some crap awhile back.

Here's hoping that some of the crap will eventually end up on sale online.

Saw this two days ago, and I was cursing a bit that I had already spent all of my my money on other things. I guess you can't have it all. Though i suspect that similar offers will come again in the future. I need to rob a bank so that I have enough money next time when such an offer comes around.

Have you ordered anything, arsaib?

Didn't know we had our own Jesse James.

I'm considering ordering the excellent It's Winter, the only one from the list I don't have.

I know you haven't yet seen the Iranian film, but what about the others listed?

I haven't seen any of those you listed. I was close with Satantango , but then I walked out of the cinema, three hours into the film, because I was bored and tired. Too much bela Tarr over the weekend, and little to get excited about...

I may finally catch "It's Winter" at the cinema next month. My third chance it is.

Among the Japanese films, I think you'll love the experimental nature of Matsumoto Toshio's Funeral Parade of Roses. I may discuss it in the near future. And I have written about both Twenty-Four Eyes and Assassination.
