THE ROAD TO GUANTANAMO has already been shown on UK TV on Channel 4, I believe it was partially funded by filmfour.

It was scheduled as a multi-platform release so that's quite possible. And if it was shown on March 9th then it's probably available to rent already. Did you get a chance to watch it?

No I missed it due to it clashing with something my wife was watching. Luckily though in Wales we also have a Welsh version of Channel 4, S4C and they are showing it tonight so hopefully I can catch it then. Should be very interesting.

Cheers Trev.

P.S. I taped it and will watch it soon.

March 28th is the big day here in terms of "important" releases. Needless to say, I'll be broke on the 29th.

Anything really interesting arsaib4? I'm never able to keep up with US foreign film releases, it would be ideal if someone could do a similar thread to this. (please!)

Cheers Trev

I'm better at keeping track of foreign releases, so perhaps wpqx or hengcs can start a U.S. thread.

I've been looking forward to Andrew Cheng's Welcome to Destination Shangahi for quite a while now and it's coming out on the 28th; along with Hong Sang-soo's The Power of Kangwon Province, which is arguably his best film; Tony Gatlif's latest, Exiles, which I liked a lot, and a couple of others. I also want to watch Stay, a film wpqx raved about earlier.

From now on I'll be adding dvd details, extras etc to the actual reviews and just using this thread for release information. Just seems more sensible than having to look through several threads.

Cheers Trev.
