Van Gogh, Where is the Friend's Home?, In a Year of 13 Moons, The Puppetmaster (or maybe Yi-Yi), The Crime of Monsieur Lange... usually my best of lists change every day, but these have always been near the top.

These are the films wich I liked the most from each director. There could be others in this list, as I am still in the process of watching the great foreign classics.

La Dolce Vita (1960)
Les Diaboliques (1954)
The Seventh Seal (1956)
Rashomon (1951)
Rififi (1955)

That's way too general a question. I mean, I could pick my five favorites from almost every country! But...

8 1/2 (Fellini)
Persona (Bergman)
La Regle De Jeu (Renoir)
A Bout De Souffle (Godard)
Tirez Sur Pianiste (Truffaut)
