As classic foreign films or World Cinema I like:

- The Bicycle Thieves (de sica)

- Wild Strawberries (bergman)/ Fanny And Alexander

- 400 Blows (truffaut)/ Breathless (goddard)

- 8 1/5 (fellini)

- The Seven Samurai (Kurosawa)/ Kaguemusha

- anyhting by Luis Bunel

As a modern World Cinema films;

- Talk To her/ The Flower Of My Secret (almodovar)

- Amores Perros

- Les Nuits Du Lune Plain (Rhomer)

- Y Tu Mama Tambien

- Kikujiro (Takeshi Kitano)/ Hana Bi or Brother

- Nine Queens

- Sex And Lucia/ Vacas (Julio Medem)

- Barrio/ Los Lunes Al Sol (Fernando leon de Aranoa)

- Delicatessen (Jean Pierre Jeaunet)

I know it's five top but I can't make up my mind..and most likely I forgot the best films I have seen as well!

This little question is, of course, impossible to answer. However, that won't keep me from taking a stab at it. I've decided not to include some titles that I've mentioned time and again in other threads (e.g. Ordet, M, The Life of Oharu, Tokyo Story, and Les Vampires). Here then are some alternates that are quite wonderful.

Day of Wrath
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
L'Argent (Bresson)
Late Spring
Umberto D
