Well a real interesting one would be "Suicide Circle" (2002) by Sion Sono. Its really visceral. 54 Japanese schoolgirls commit mass suicide by jumping in front of a train at rush hour. You will not be able to take your eyes off the screen in addition to thinking about this movie for days. I would have said 'Heathers' but thats an American film, but still darkly comic, nevetheless.

Bresson's "The Devil, Probably" is an excellent and very realistic study of a young man bent on self destruction.

For a suicidal comedy you could try L'Emmerdeur featuring Jacques Brel as clumsy would-be suicide case who gets on the nerves of the professional hitman played by Lino Ventura. Apparently this film was badly remade as Buddy Buddy with Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon.

An interesting film that you might really enjoy is the Hanging Garden. Its about a son returning home about 15 years after he commited suicide(its a bit of a magic realist film). So its not quite about suicide, but about what would happen if you could reunite after its occurance. Its one of my favourite movies. Enjoy

There's a fairly recent Korean film called "Peppermint Candy" that begins with a man's suicide and traces his life backwards, carefully illustrating the steps that took him to such a desperate state. (the film predates "Memento" by a year or so, and is ten times better than it!)

In the Mexican film i saw yesterday- Japon- a guy from the city goes to stay in a country village, intent on suicide, but comes to care more for life thanks to the gentle humanity of the elderly peasant woman who takes him in as a lodger. Influenced by Tarkovsky and Kiarostami, with a touch of Herzog, and a Bressonian minimalist approach to acting; slowly paced, beautifully shot, a quite superb film from a director of rare promise who respects the viewer and is genuinely interested in the arthouse tradition.
