Yat-Kha: Storm Over Asia

A live film soundtrack accompaniment like no other. Vsevolod Pudovkin’s 1928 silent masterpiece Storm Over Asia, savagely cut by Soviet censors, is restored to its full glory and presented with live music from Tuva’s most extraordinary band, Yat-Kha. Their punk and rock & roll attitude to Tuvan throat singing and traditional music perfectly match the innovative and dramatic approach of the film which contains remarkable and spectacular footage of life in Tuva and the Altai mountains. Unmissable.
