Hi Emily

Which roles in the film industry? This is bcos women can play many roles in the industry, such as: film-making, editing, directing, acting etc, etc.

i hv come across many women who fulfill these roles such as film-makers, Kathleen Kennedy, Penny Marshall who also directs in movies, director, Cindy Williams, and countless other actresses.

Women's role in filmaking and directing are significant as these roles provide alternative perspectives to the stories. Perspectives that and different from the male counterparts' point of views.

Female perspectives have the typical signatures of grace, femininity and sensitivities to the relationships of the characters in the stories.

In that sense, women must try not to comply to be the same like the men.

Cordially yours

i also hv a friend whom i met through the internet. She is involved in film editing.

i hv found her to be highly intelligent, sensitive and very knowledgeable about many things in life and not just about films.
