Does anyone know where I can get a list of Chilean movies (films) that was produced around 1990 thru 1992?
I am trying to find a chilean movie where the main character is shot in the head (with a bullet) and is in the hospital. He goes through many fantasies as well as childhood dreams that he once had. In the dream, the main character is accompanied by a Japanese person who eventually takes the main character into the other world.

While looking for the title of a Russian film, the internet movie data base (imdb.com) gave me a list of over 4000 Russian language films. You might try searching there for your Chilean movie.

Sounds a bit like Raul Ruiz'. Although he's now based in France. He did "La Vida es Sueno" which is based on a Spanish play, but was updated (in a very surreal way) to the politial events of 73.

He also recently did one based on Proust's "Rememberances of Things Past".

But I've only seen the first. His main themes are related to dream vs reality and the fusion between the two.

I found LVES at the public library, although I wouldn't doubt that Kim's has it, too.

Ms. Vasquez, I didn't understand the last sentence.
What do you mean by "kim's has it, too."?

Is there a way that I can get a copy of the movie in Los Angeles? You can contact me directly via my email "douglask@sea.samsung.com". Thanks

La Frontera is not the film you want, but it's Chilean from 1991, and well worth seeing.
