Fellini on DVD

I know that a few Fellini movies have been released on DVD through the Criterion Collection, but the Criterion movies are so expensive because they add so many special features. Does anybody know if there are any plans to have Fellini's movies (particularly 8 1/2 and Amarcord) to be released on a DVD not from Criterion? Because I would love to find one for just $19.95 as opposed to $39.95.

You should try picking one up on the cheap at half.com or ebay.com.

But you have to agree that Criterion's "8 1/2" DVD is beautiful, do you not? Well, "Fellini Satyricon" is by MGM World Films, as is "Roma" and "City of Women". There is also "The Ship Sails on" and "Cassanova", given that they are Fellini's worst films, but they're the only ones not Criterion. All these DVD's can be purchased for $20 at Amazon.com

"8 1/2" is being released from Image in a cheaper movie-only edition. It is said to be the same print as Criterion's.
