this will probably be an easy one to recognise but i've not been able to ask for anyones help until finding this forum.

i'd like to know the name of a film (french i think) that came out a few years ago. i only ever saw a review of it on t.v.

it was a period piece set in France(?) were the more fashionable people in society would combat each other by trading vicious and elaborate insults rather that resort to physical attacks. i can't remember if there was any more story than that.

if anyone knows which film it is i would appreciate there opinion of it also.

thanks.
