Can anyone suggest a list of films such as the Korean film "The Way Home" and the Persian (Farsi) film from Iran "Children of Heaven" that could be enjoyed by children and adults alike?

I've never seen either of the films you mention, but the Farsi film The White Balloon would probably be appropriate - though I haven't seen that either!

La Gloire de Mon Pere (My Father's Glory) is a wonderful family film.

Zero de Conduite (Zero for Conduct) has a great sense of fun, but is perhaps an acquired taste.

Au Revoir Les Enfants is a great family film, though it is very sad and could be upsetting to those children young enough to understand its import but not old enough to deal with it.

You could try My Life as a Dog - not my favourite film, but very popular and warm-hearted.

Try investigating these on
