Can anyone suggest a few good comedies of foreign film (any language) which do not exhibit overt sexual conduct or verbal obscenity? This will be used in a library program.

How about pictures by Jacques Tati - Mr. Hulot's Holiday, Mon Oncle.

Jacques Tati is the best director of comedies. The gags are entirely visual with practically no dialogue. My favorite is PLAYTIME.

Thanks to all of you who have replied to my "comedy" question. I have yet to review all of them, but am sure there will be at least one I can use for my film program.

I tried to find "barking dogs never bite". It's not listed in our library system, nor could I find it on Amazon.
