my parents rent the latest bollywood video releases
from the local [houston, usa] indian grocery stores. based on personal experience, these shops are great place to begin delving into indian pop films.

i'm curious about to hear from other hyphenated-americans: is this true of other ethnic grocery stores? could i walk into a [fill in the blank] and start sampling some pop
cinema?

As to your first question... I don't know, I'm a non-hypenated american (hillbilly cracker would be my closest cultural idenifier), but I have a question for you: If I waled into one of these stores, could I find films by Ritwik Ghatak? They can be in any format and I don't even need them with subtitles (one of my favorite past-times is going to the local theater that features one BollyWood film a week and watch it totaly oblivious to exactly what is happening). Thanks for any info.
