I envy you, there are some damn good films on there.

Can't quite figure out how Gertrud made that list though.

Ray quick get to it,life is too short!i have every film on your list so there are some rippers therein.you must see them all to judge, but i would definitely seek out The Rules of the Game(my fave) along with Citizen Kane the most influentual of films.

@ gratefultiger

i believe i'm a woman of average intelligence, and i'm genuinely surprised that "Gertrud" makes it to The List and "Memories of Underdevelopment" doesn't

Maybr Gertrud is better known? Or because it was directed by Dreyer, esteem is automatically high?
But don`t worry, it`s just a list!

#198 The Mother and the Whore, that's the highest film on the list I haven't seen.

I'm going to leave a bruise from patting myself on the back so hard. Sorry but someone dredged this up, so commentary is necessary.

I recently saw someone post a list of 220 films, and I had seen 102 of them. However this list included all three Final Destination movies, the remake to Texas Chainsaw Massacre and all American Pie movies, including the straight to DVD Band Camp. So in other words the list is @#%$, so I had to check this one out again to make me feel better, and restore my faith in my movie snobbery.

I have one left, Nashville and I really can't see myself ever watching it, I just can't stand the whole C&W scene.

Cheers Trev.
