Well UK films are going here I take it, or at least that's how you laid it down. As far as co-productions, I'll keep it as this, any film that wasn't "eligible" for my American list, I'll put on this. I have some work to do to make the list, a lot of work actually, and seeing Rebels of the Neon God on your list, I think I should watch that first, because it is sitting on my floor right now. BTW, shame on you for not numbering. I'm probably not going to have enough patience to list every film by it's foreign as well as International title, so don't expect anything too technical. Where's John-5 when you need him, he was always good for lists.

Yeah, haven`t seen him for a long time actually - or better "read" hm...
I tried numbering for about 3 hours, but gave up after that. I can list my Top 30, and the bottom 30, but the films in between were too hard.

This is going to be tough but I'll give it a go, should have a list up in a few days.

Cheers Trev.

Sorry taking much longer than I expected, I need more time on the PC.

I'm going to try to do it very soon. One thing - my list will only be foreign language films. So where does that leave the UK and Australia since we did not include them in our Top US films? (Or at least I didn't.)

I think I will at least make a separate list of my top 50 UK/Australia/New Zealand films. There are some truly significant films from the UK, etc - and I want to make space for them since I only included US films in my other list.

What do you think?

I like the separate list idea, which wouldn't be too bad. The only thing is A set the precedent and as you can see he included UK films. So it depends, if I want to fit more films, then I'll try the separate list, if not I'll copy his format.

Why shouldn`t UK and Australia be included? I thought we are discussing non-US films...

I guess there are several ways we could do this. It seems in the "old days" there was a list of 100 Top Foreign Language films and another called 100 Top Foreign films (which I would understand would be non USA and would include films from the UK, Australia, etc.)

And now we have our Top 100 US films. And I did not include UK films in my list.

I'll go either way on this. It's all right, but it does seem that the UK and Australia and New Zealand got cut out of our USA list. I just don't want them to get short changed. A lot of folks think of British film not as foreign film.

Should we have a list of Top Foreign language film (non
English) and a list for Top English speaking films (US and UK, etc.?) Or a separate list for UK as we have a list for US films?

Some of you folks figure this out and I'll go along.
