Top 50 Brazillian Films

Postby wpqx » Wed Apr 02, 2008 10:30 am

Apparently the Brazilian magazine Manchete put together this list in 1998, which explains the omission of some good contemporary films and the rather bizarre placement of a few 90's films. Ganga Bruta tops the list, and I must admit I'm in appallingly bad shape with about 45 of these films. I wonder how many of these films are actually available on DVD, anywhere. I do however have a pretty good idea when it comes to the Rochas, dos Santos', de Andrades and a few newer ones. Need to explore further.
