Paul Verhoeven actually sort-of re-made one of his own films, Basic Instinct is a glossier version of The Fourth Man, although I prefer The Fourth Man.

Couldnt agree more. The fourth man is much much better than Basic instinct.

I believe it's currently in production, but this would be catergorized as a BAD REMAKE: Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere's version of Shall We Dance. I'd rather stab my eyes with pine needles (okay so I am dramatic) than watch this version.

Not the worst, but certainly bad:
"What's Cooking"-of eat drink man woman
"City of Angels"-of wings of desire
most american remakes of foreign films are horrible
