This reminds me. I have to get that DVD release from Yume Pictures to see the interview with Suzuki. And of course I need to see more of his work (including "Pistol Opera" and "Princess Raccoon"). I'm glad I've arranged for two of his 60s films to be screened at our cinema in May. Looking forward to seeing them on the big screen. A great director indeed. And I love his cameo appearance in Sabu's "Blessing Bell". It's good to see such an old and experienced artist still being creative and getting the money to work. Seems like it's easier for aold masters to continue their careers in japan than it is in most other countries around the world.
