Yup, it's a short one.

I have seen Tony Takitani. I liked it but I remember thinking that it would've worked better as a short. The mise-en-scne and the performance by Ogata however are wonderful indeed.

Nothing personal (and I have NOT watched the film), so I shant comment too much ... but I chanced upon a reviewer who gave it a 2 out of 5 ... maybe you agree, maybe you dont ...

Well i don't agree with that reviewer, he's completely missed the point of the film. But hey, everyone's got an opinion.

The pacing and structure made it feel as though you were watching poetry in motion, my eldest son watched around 20 minutes before deciding it wasn't his type of film but I must say I was enveloped in it.

I'm sure being a fan of Murakami's writing helped in my appreciation of the film.
