I didn't like Days of Being Wild, after I saw Chungking Express, In the Mood for Love, and Happy Together...but maybe if i saw that one first, i would have appreciated it. I loved "In the mood for Love." It was very well made, and I heard somewhere that there wasn't a script for the film, so the actors had to ad-lib their lines and really draw from their emotions. That sort of makes him films excellent. Plus, I love that he uses really old songs for his soundtracks, like "California Dreaming" and Dennis Brown's "Things in Life," and Nat King Cole. They just stick on you. Being a young person who didn't grow up with that kind of music, I get introduced to good music.
