probably not watch too many. i'm twenty-six and when i do go
see a foreign film at a threatre...i'm usually the only one there below
fifty. it really don't matter much, but are there peers my age that dig
films especially foreign films?

Well, I too am 26 and a fan of foreign films. as well as almost all of my friends. I also see a lot of young people in the theaters when I go. Could be dependent on where you live?

i'm glad that there are younger people interested in foreign films. it's so much more that just the films, one can learn different thing within the film such as cultures, literature, as well as references to other great films.

In the San Francisco Bay Area there are lots of people your age at foreign and independent films. Although I'm in the other age category you mentioned, I've been watching films with actors other than Julia and Mel since I was 19.

I'm from Rochester, New York, which is not the worst place for international cinema, afterall we do have a huge archive at the George Eastman House. I too find myself often the youngest person in the art-houses, it's great that this site exists, because it is very difficult to strike up a conversation about Fellini with folks that watch nothing but Whoreywood Schlockbusters, oh by the way I am 22 and have been enjoying the gems of the world for almost five years now. -- saw Double Life of Veronique again recently, the thing never becomes anything less than mesmerizing. . .

Hi, I'm 37 years old and luckily I live in a city where I can see or rent all the "foreign" movies I might ever want.

I'm 26, and if I continue at this rate of watching foreign films, I will probably succeed in seeing most of them.
