Lukas is a cinematic god
Here we have the best of Lukas Moodysson, which is good indeed. 'Show Me Love' is the politically correct title of his film about teenage lesbians in a small Swedish town, their angst and their relationship. My girlfriend called it the best love story she'd ever seen. Then there is Lilja-4-Ever, about a young Eastern European girl forced into prostitution: food for thought there. 'Together' is about a Swedish commune which takes in a suburban family during the 1970's, some comedic moments and good entertainment. 'A Hole in My Heart' is a somewhat more experimental film, definitely not meant for watching with the whole family; the narrative isn't as clear and there are some gynecological scenes that might scare you. I've seen all of these films and recommend them heartily to anyone who wants to see something besides the standard Hollywood trash.
