In an attempt to stave off a full-blown mid-life crisis after his wife leaves him, Charlie Duprey (William Forsythe) heads to Reno, Nev., for some gambling therapy. But when Duprey unwittingly picks up a psychotic killer (James Le Gros) who's posing as a hitchhiker, his relaxing weekend getaway escalates into a deranged high-stakes death trip.
