In this Indian musical, Madhu (Asha Parekh) flees her arranged marriage and runs away with her boyfriend -- only to discover that her beau is just after her money. While trying to escape her family and boyfriend once and for all, Madhu runs into a widowed childhood friend who's on her way to meet her in-laws for the first time. The two decide to travel together, but when the train derails, her dying friend convinces Madhu to take her place.
