A government experiment goes awry, spawning a new generation of bats that are vicious, ravenous … and intelligent! Sheriff Emmett Kimsey (Lou Diamond Phillips) and ace researcher Sheila Casper (Dina Meyer) team to squelch the bloodsuckers before they put the bite on every citizen in town. Little do Kimsey and Casper know that the military has other plans for the winged beasties.
