When a lovely, young dancer named Janet Jones (Vera-Ellen) arrives at a Scottish film festival in the limo of a well-known rich man, jaws drop. Even though Jones had simply hitched a ride -- and never even met the millionaire -- rumor suddenly has it that she and he are having an affair. Meanwhile, Jones believes that the man courting her (David Niven) is a reporter when he's actually the millionaire!
