When Granger High needs a new boy's basketball coach, they hire former Olympic gold medalist Randy Rawlings (Cathy Lee Crosby). She soon finds out, however, that her lanky team has no idea what it takes to win. Worse, her job hinges on a perfect season, and sexist principal Fenton Granger (Keenan Wynn) is determined not to let that happen. The coach fights to the end -- both on and off the court -- in this inspirational drama.
