When his snowmobile franchise nose-dives, TV weatherman Russ Richards (John Travolta) needs a get-rich-quick scheme to stave off bankruptcy. So, his shifty buddy Gig (Tim Roth) hatches a plot to rig the state lottery with help from ditsy lotto girl -- and Russ' mistress -- Crystal Latroy (Lisa Kudrow) and her bumbling cousin. But their ingenious plan goes awry as more people learn about the fraud ... and they all want a slice of the pie.
