Based on James A. Michener's historical novel, this made-for-TV miniseries dramatizes the Mexican-American battle over the territory now known as Texas. Legendary actor Charlton Heston narrates the evolution of the rebellion -- from residents' conflict with Gen. Santa Ana (Lloyd Battista) to the leadership of Stephen Austin (Patrick Duffy) and Sam Houston (Stacy Keach) and the famous battle at the Alamo.
