This emotional drama with hints of comic relief centers on the problems two friends face when one comes from a rich background and the other from an impoverished one. Despite a tired plot choice, the film benefits from infectious tunes, a solid cast (Jeetendra, Rishi Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Rekha, Poonam Dhillon) and a more action-driven second half.
