Unemployed actor Jake Scully (Craig Wasson) takes a house-sitting job in a beautiful apartment in the hills and finds he has a front-row seat to Gloria Revelle's (Deborah Shelton's) exotic striptease. When Jake learns that another voyeur is also watching, he launches an investigation. A brutal murder leads Jake into the world of adult film, where he meets porn star Holly Body (Melanie Griffith), who may have the answers he's searching for.
