Though troubled Mark Jennings (Emilio Estevez) and his adoptive brother, Bryon Douglas (Craig Sheffer), have been best friends a long time, they've begun to grow apart -- and things only get worse when Bryon falls for pretty waitress Cathy Carlson (Kim Delaney). Viewing Cathy as a threat, the resentful Mark becomes increasingly volatile and soon sees his life start to spin out of control in this compelling coming-of-age drama.
