Miami hotel owner and former U.S. paratrooper George Moran (Peter Weller) finds trouble when he gets mixed up with the wife (Kelly McGillis) of a deposed general (Tomas Milian) of the Dominican Republic, where Moran fought during the U.S. invasion. Crime novelist Elmore Leonard wrote the script, and Abel Ferrara directed, filling the screen with his usual eye-popping doses of nudity and violence.
