Featuring Shintarô Katsu's farewell appearance as the iconic swordsman, this thrilling martial arts epic (written and directed by Katsu as well) finds nomadic hero Zatôichi in the middle of a bloody turf war between two rival Yakuza clans. When the people of a nearby village become threatened by the violent battle, Zatôichi is once again forced to wield his sword in defense of those who cannot defend themselves.
