After his partner is brutally killed, Detective Jack Murphy (Mark Hamill) learns that his only hope in solving the case lies with an unlikely source -- a golden retriever. Upon teaming up with an intuitive female doctor, Murphy realizes that the pup is highly intelligent and has been specifically encoded to hunt down the killer, a dangerous person known as The Outsider.
