When a hit man (Chow Yun-Fat) accidentally blinds a young singer, he retires to nurse her. But he falls for her and decides to do one last hit to earn enough money to pay for an operation that could restore her vision. He succeeds, but a mishap nearly causes his capture and prompts his employer to turn the tables ... and order a hit on him!
