Bleak, disturbing and gloriously low-budget, this chiller directed by David Cronenberg is not for the squeamish. After a horrific motorcycle crash, an injured woman (Marilyn Chambers) receives experimental surgery that saves her life, but side effects leave her thirsty for blood -- and give her a gruesome capability to extract it. Worse, her victims become as bloodthirsty as she is!
