Writer-director Peter Greenaway delivers this audacious tale about a middle-aged father (John Standing) and his playboy son (Matthew Delamere), who cope with the loss of a beloved wife and mother by cultivating their sexual pursuits. They remodel their home into a 24-hour bordello, furnishing it with a flock of female concubines (among them, Toni Collette and Amanda Plummer).
