Legendary ballerina Maya Plisetskaya and the famed Bolshoi Ballet perform composer Peter Tchaikovsky's beloved "Swan Lake" in this memorable 1957 production, with Plisetskaya taking on two roles: the beautiful Odette and the dark Odile. Under the curse of a malevolent magician (Vladimir Levashev) that turns her into a swan, Odette finds hope in the love of Prince Siegfried (Nicolai Fadeyechev), but the wizard's trickery may doom the romance.
