Catalan director Ventura Pons offers this engrossing series of seven vignettes, each following a different person moving inextricably (and unwittingly) toward his or her demise -- including a businessman who dies by the hand of a hired assassin. Then Pons rewinds the clock, makes a small change in each person's circumstances, and explores how things could proceed in a radically different fashion for each victim.
