In their second feature, radio favorites Lum and Abner run Jot 'Em Down Store in Pine Bluff, Ark. When Lum becomes enchanted with Geraldine (Zasu Pitts), an attractive middle-aged customer, he sets out to impress her. As Abner pretends to be in a series of accidents, Lum will "rescue" him and prove his courage to Geraldine. At least, that's the plan ... Frequent Laurel and Hardy collaborator Malcolm St. Clair directs this slapstick classic.
