The hit television Western "Bonanza" ran for 14 years and chronicled the daily trials of patriarch Ben Cartwright (Lorne Greene) and his three sons -- Adam (Pernell Roberts), Hoss (Dan Blocker) and Little Joe (Michael Landon) -- on their enormous spread, the Ponderosa in Nevada.
