Aditi (Ayesha Takia) appears to be everything Viren (Abhay Deol) wants or needs in a wife. They have similar backgrounds and share the same race, socioeconomic status and beliefs. But Viren's in love with someone else -- a Catholic girl, no less -- whom his parents feel isn't good enough for their son. As he grapples with his decision, Viren and Aditi form a fast friendship, one that may have to suffer if he marries his girlfriend after all.
