No one knows much about Jack Belder (Harry Hamlin), a restless soul who flits into the life of Katherine (Rebecca Jenkins), a widow raising her 13-year-old son, Aaron (Trevor Blumas). When a woman is found murdered in their home, Aaron begins to wonder if Jack has anything to do with it. Curious and worried, the boy makes it his mission to uncover Jack's past, knowing full well that what he may churn up could destroy his mother's relationship.
