In this poignant drama, Bolivar De La Cruz (Kuno Becker) leaves his pregnant wife behind and makes a perilous journey from Mexico to Los Angeles to find a better life. Unlike Bolivar, discontented Mexican-American Lola Sara (Danielle Camastra) was born in California, but the two have one thing in common: Both are on a path toward events that will forever alter their lives.
