Based on George Dell's classic novel The Earth Abideth, this epic saga follows the lives of a post-Civil War frontier family through several decades. Thomas Linthorne (Peter Strauss) settles on a piece of Midwestern farmland with his new bride, Kate (Rachel Ward).
