A year after literally scaring his fiancée to death with an over-the-top costumed proposal, young Anderson (Jason Biggs) is still deep in mourning. When his friend Ted (Michael Weston) suggests it's time to get back in the game, the reactive Anderson goes overboard and proposes to Katie (Isla Fisher), a waitress at a local diner -- and a virtual stranger. Surprisingly, Katie accepts, and their trip to the altar spirals wildly out of control.
